Once installed. top closes perfectly over crossbar bar with no interference. To convert this Soft Top Kit to Hard Top Kit. add (2) 8-00-9790 (hard top brackets) and (1) 8-00-9702-BK. Solid Crossbar accept most other mfg roof top accessories. They do not accept EXR Click-In accessories. Upgrade to 8-00-9704-BK (or RD) to use EXR Click-In accessories. Crossbars are made from heavy duty carbon steel. acid washed. electroplated and powder-coated.
