The female border attaches to the male side of the tile. the male border attaches to the female side of the tile. and the corner attaches to the ends of the female and male borders. Typically choose half female and half male borders and 4 corners for an island installation with borders on all four sides of your layout. The borders provide a finished edge to your floor layout and ramp down to provide safe transition. Each of the female. male. and corner ramped borders are available in packs of 4.
